Arthur Joseph believes passionately in empowerment through voice. A master teacher and strategist, Joseph has worked with Hollywood celebrities, sports figures and broadcasters as well as clients from the corporate world.
Among those who have benefited from Joseph’s “Vocal Awareness” program are actors Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Angelina Jolie, Heather Locklear and Arnold Schwarzenegger; corporate giants Deloitte and Touche, Disney, Ernst & Young, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Toyota, and Universal Studios Hollywood Company; and numerous national and regional broadcasters. Joseph has trained notable sports figures such as football luminaries Marshall Faulk and Emmitt Smith, basketball star Magic Johnson, Olympic Gold medalist Kerri Strug, broadcasters Quinn Buckner, Lisa Guerrero and Jay Glazer, among many others. Joseph has also served as a consultant to CBS Sports, Fox Sports and the NFL Network.
Joseph was vocal director on the film Annie, as well as singing consultant to numerous musicals on Broadway and London’s West End. Arthur has also lent his expertise in the political arena on both the state and national levels. He has been a frequent guest on national, regional and local television broadcasts and has been a guest lecturer at dozens of seminars and conferences.
Arthur Joseph is an author of three books, two audio series, DVD and on-line courses. A former University of Southern California professor, visiting artist at Yale and George Washington Universities, and City of New York Graduate Extension Program, he is the founder of the Vocal Awareness Institute, and has studied the physical, emotional and psychological aspects of the human voice for more than four decades.
